Get Answers about Performance Review(Ask a New Question)Featured Questions on ApexPerformanceReview.comI want to evaluate my performance and put it in an increase in compensation proposal for my boss when we both go over his performance review over me. How do I go about writing my own performance review? Any websites for reference would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

I have an "exceeds expectations" performance review from my current employer. I was wondering if it's appropriate to include that in my resume. I was thinking of adding it as a "reference".
Please tell me why or why not.
Thanks!

One of my coworkers keeps bragging about how he got a pay raise. This was all done by him talking to my boss's boss. My boss keeps complaining that it's not right because had he given him a performance review, he wouldn't have granted him a pay raise. That's not fair in my opinion either because I don't know my boss's boss that well to call him up and ask him for a pay raise, therefore any pay raises I get will be based on a performance review. What are the rules about this?

I'm somewhat new to management. I'm currently working on a performance review for an employee who doesn't always remain positive. She did her self assessment and rates herself "outstanding" in almost all areas. One of the sections addresses DEVELOPMENT NEEDS (List top 2-3 technical or behavioral development needs) I'm struggling as how to best address her behavioral needs as I'm not certain how to word it. She certainly needs continued support and coaching to remain positive when difficult circumstances arise. She makes sarcastic comments bashing the company and her integrity needs improvement. Are there any experienced managers that can offer suggestions? While her customer service is excellent she isn't always positive on an internal level. I would expect a greater level of maturity for someone her age (I realize I cannot say that in a review) and she is extremely sensitive and moody.
